The company entered the security software market in 2006 with the introduction of SATPA license plate recognition library. The product was presented under Shahaab Trademark since 2015. Relying on the knowledge of specialized and young educated forces, the company has taken steps to develop security softwares using artificial intelligence and image processing and has now become one of the pioneers in this field.

With the development of SATPA license plate recognition library, Shahaab Company has established itself as one of the main sources for the production of license plate recognition software in Iran. Currently, most of the prominent license plate recognition software in Iran use this library for developing their own softwares. After years of optimizing and upgrading SATPA Library, Shahaab Company has expanded its market globally and by adding standard license plates of other Asian and Eastern European countries to SATPA Library, introducing itself as a major source in this field.
